How To Get To Taylor Bay Beach
Recently this year there was a chain of events, it involved a property purchase and a public beach access being closed down.
The new owner thought the property, including the beach all belong to him when in fact no one owns the beach. Unfortunately this person close off the public access that has been known for years as the beach access to Taylor Bay; Leading to the question how to get to Taylor Bay Beach?
This beach is highly recommended on the tourism board website and with no access to it, you would wonder how in the cow foot we are to get there? I got countless emails from you guys asking how to get to Taylor Bay Beach; Are you guys ready? Let's go.
First thing first, get a map of the island if you're not a local; if you are indeed a local then you should know your directions pretty well, if not Ine know (I don't know) what to tell you.
You will be going to Chalk Sound which is located on the Southwest side of the island; continue until you see the street Ocean Point Drive where you will be turning left.
The public beach access is in between Villa Sal Mare and Ocean Point Drive, for parking; just park on the side of the road. That is it; you have reached your destination, you are now at Taylor Bay Beach enjoy. Here are a few things to know before going; during high tide you have a little less beach but still enough to lay out of play games.
There isn’t much shade so bring your own umbrella or tent if you decide to go before the golden hour. Pro tip for you guys, the best time to go would be in the morning before 11am or in the evening after 4:30pm. Want to actually see how I got there? check out my YouTube video below.
I hope this helped and if you guys have anymore questions leave me a comment I'll be happy to answer them.
